Diipa. The most beautiful weather app that never was.
The word Diipa means “Island” in Sanskrit. In 2020, with a lot of time on my hands. I conceived of a weather app that didn’t just minimzed the ever-changing environment to a stack of minimalist icons. The idea behind Diipa was to embrace the changing moods that cycle through each day. The weather was represented by an island, The app would allow the user to scroll forward to a certain time of day, through the use of a slider. The animation would dynamically change to that time of day. All features would be portrayed on screen; tides and wind speed would dictate the water lever and the intensity at which the flag blew. Light rain would reflect on the water and fog would roll in front of the island scene.

Fariah Dynamic Backgrounds
I illustrated a series of dynamic wallpapers for Fariah Education, which bring a unique, interactive element to their website. These wallpapers use geo-tagging to reveal users' locations and display a corresponding wallpaper that reflects the local weather and time of day. In total, I designed 20 wallpapers, capturing the essence of each season and five different times of day. This innovative approach ensures that users experience a visually engaging and contextually relevant background every time they visit the site.
